Paper Mit Folding Endurance Testing machine is a new type testing instrument to test Paper's Folding Endurance, which is designed to be in accordance with related national standard GB/T 2679.5-1995, Paper and board-Determination of folding endurance (MIT Tester). Paper Folding Endurance Tester has various functions, such as, parameter testing, parametric transformation, parameter regulation, parameter display, parameter memory and parameter print. The tester has data processing function which can directly output result of statistical data with convenient operation, easy regulation and stable performance. The main functions are shown as following: Compact structure, light weight, abundant functions, horizontal type and stable performance, so the tester is suitable for different paper and boards.

The tester is a mechatronic tester. The mechanical part includes a motor transmission part and a tension mechanism part. In terms of mechanical transmission, the connecting rod is controlled by the motor to control the clamp to rotate left and right by 135 °. The speed of the motor is controlled by a governor and a circuit. The tension mechanism deforms the spring by pressing the tension lever. The spring tension formed exerts a force on the paper sample to be tested, and the tension acting on the sample is adjusted between 4.91N and 14.72N. The tester can count the double folding times of the tested paper sample through the detection of the photoelectric circuit, and automatically stop when the sample breaks. At the same time, the tester also realizes the automatic return of the folding clamp through the detection of the photoelectric circuit. It is suitable for measuring the folding resistance of various paper and cardboard, and is an ideal testing equipment for industries and departments such as papermaking, packaging, scientific research and product quality supervision and inspection.
